Our dealership originated in Hayward , WI
over 25 years ago, and is still owned and operated by the same people today. John's Motor Sports is a full-line Mercury Outboard and Mercruiser Stern Drive dealership, specializing in service. If you are looking for experienced, honest people who care about your boat, you've found the right place. Our technicians will work with you on hard to find or intermittent problems as well as perform routine repairs and maintenance on Mercury Outboards, Mercruiser Stern Drives, SportJet, Force, and Mariner Outboards. We also service older outboards of various makes that most dealers turn away. Our technicians are well qualified to service the Mercury 4-stroke and Optimax Outboards and the Alpha One and Bravo Stern Drives.

We are very proud of our engine service. We have Master and Certified Technicians, through Mercury Marine, on staff. Due to our vast parts inventory and high-tech equipment needed to service today's engines, we often get boats repaired in 24 hours, sometimes less. Our technicians complete several weeks of schooling through Mercury Marine during the winter to stay current on the many high-tech engines that Mercury is producing.

An additional aspect of our business is winterizing and storage. As far as storage goes, we have 3 large storage buildings that are commercial-grade, state inspected, and bonded. We do not stack boats or handle them with fork lifts. Many customers enjoy the feature of having their boats winterized, stored, and spring-checked, so their boat is ready when they are. We have purposely remained a small dealership, even while competing with some large and aggressive competition. We feel we can provide higher quality service, operating in this manner. Our job is complete when you and your family are enjoying your boat.
